American Studies
D7 is a strong and resilient district that has made great strides in Filipino American education with the establishment of an annual Mini-Dialogue and the implementation of the Standardizing Filipino American Studies program. In addition, D7 is proactive in addressing the issues and concerns facing Filipinos. D7 advocacy efforts include its partnership in the formation of the Virginia Chapter of Student Action for Veterans Equity (SAVE-VA).
